Are you a Fire Lookout enthusiast, a former or current lookout operator, or someone who simply loves Fire Lookouts? Stay informed about the Fire Lookout world, connect with other enthusiasts, and contribute to lookout restoration projects by joining the Forest Fire Lookout Association (FFLA).
Membership Levels
FFLA offers two membership levels:
Regular Membership
- Benefits: Quarterly issues of LOOKOUT NETWORK, the magazine of the FFLA.
- Pricing:
- 1 Year: $15.00
- 2 Years: $30.00
- 3 Years: $45.00
Plus Membership
- Benefits: Quarterly issues of LOOKOUT NETWORK and NATIONAL WOODLANDS magazine, which includes updates on the National Historic Lookout Register.
- Pricing:
- 1 Year: $27.50
- 2 Years: $55.00
- 3 Years: $82.50

All FFLA members receive quarterly copies of LOOKOUT NETWORK, which serves as the central information source for Fire Lookout topics worldwide. This magazine includes:
- Regular column by the FFLA chairman
- Lookout news and feature articles
- Information on books about lookouts
- New NHLR listings
- FFLA merchandise

NATIONAL WOODLANDS
In addition to LOOKOUT NETWORK, for an extra $12.50 per year, Plus members also receive NATIONAL WOODLANDS magazine. This publication promotes the wise use of America’s forest resources and includes:
- A one-page update on the National Historic Lookout Register (NHLR) in each issue
